The Elite 4 Membership?

What is going on with the elite 4 on this website? Is anyone an elite?

Not yet. Gym Leaders can and will be promoted to the Elite 4.

Yes, if you become a Gym Leader then you will be in with a chance of becoming an Elite 4 member when the Elite 4 are selected.

ok, does it really have to be mono type? and if so, then I pick water or ghost type, whichever one is available, then I''l take it, if neither is available, then I'll challenge whoever, would it be better if we communicated through email?
